Gokyo Valley is famous for its five magnificent lakes. Beautiful turquoise lakes guarded by silver mounts are a sight to behold. Mt. Everest (8848m), Lhotse (8516m), Makalu (8585m), Cho-Oyu (8201m), and other outstanding mountains such as AmaDablam, Kongde, Thame Peak, Thamserku, and Khagtega are all visible from the Gokyo Valley and Renjo-La pass trek. One of the main attractions of Gokyo Valley is the Ngozomba Glacier, the largest glacier in the Himalayas, which can be seen all the way from Cho Oyu peak to Dole.. Another appealing feature of this trek is the Gokyo Ri peak (5357m).
