Langtang Valley circuit is a well-known trekking destination, nestled between the major Himalayan range to the north and a lesser range of snowy peaks to the south. Despite its proximity to Kathmandu, modernisation has had little impact on the valley and its population. This excursion combines breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas with an immersion in the rural culture and traditions of the local people.

The sight of some of the creator’s finest work-Mount. Langtang Lirung (7,200m/23,622ft), Mt. Ganesh Himal (7,600m), Mt. Langtang-II (7,227m), Mt. Gang Chhenpo (6388m), Mt. Naya Kanga Ri (5846m), and Mt. DorjeLakpa (6966m)- is a factor that makes this walk incredibly gratifying. The Rhododendron and Bamboo Forests, as well as their abundant wildlife habitat, breathtaking waterfalls pouring over Mammoth Boulders, and calming hot spring bath are just a few of the trail’s unique characteristics.

Langtang Gosaikunda trek is another renowned trekking destination in Nepal’s Langtang trekking region. Incredible panoramic views and spectacular landscapes, with over 1000 plants, over 150 species of birds, and several other creatures, make trekking more appealing and enjoyable. Trekking at Tserko Ri (5,000m) for spectacular vistas of the Langtang Lirung (7,200m) range is an unforgettable experience.

The roads go to the Langtang valley and then to the friendly Sherpa community of Kyanjing Gompam via the traditional and ethnic Tamang Village. On our way to Gosainkunda, we will see the sun rise over a plethora of the gleaming Gosainkunda Lake, which is a Hindu and Buddhist sacred lake. The Laurebinayak pass (4,609m) will also reveal some lovely rice terraces and a number of magnificent monasteries, as well as the wonderful towns of Tarke Gyang and Sermathang..

The Langtang Valley is protected by the Langtang National Park, Nepal’s second largest national park. One of the itineraries included in the package is a walk through the park. It is difficult, but not impossible, to see wildlife in a wooded setting. Monkeys, Musk Deer, Pikka, and the colorful Danphe are some of the wildlife you may encounter (Pheasant – national bird of Nepal). Langtang Valley trekking provides an experience that no other site can provide. It is a tiny valley with diverse flora and animals.

The Langtang circuit trekking trail continues to Kyangjin Gompa after passing through Langtang village (3,740 m). The Yala Cheese Factory is located here. A continuation from Kyangjin Gompa to the Langsisa grasslands (4.084 m) affords good views of multiple glaciers. Langsisa has a few huts within walking distance of Kyangjin Gompa that can be reached in a day.

Day 1 :

Travel from Kathmandu to Syabru Bensi via car.

We'll be driving to Syabru Bensi, which is roughly 117 kilometers (7 hours) from Kathmandu. The road is winding, mostly unpaved, and takes you through high mountains. We'll take a picturesque drive through the foothills and ridgeline terrain to Syabru Besi, passing through Dhunche. While driving along the Trishuli River's bank, you may see Ganesh Himal, terraces, and lush hills. We'll spend the night in a nearby guest house.

Day 2 :

Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel Hike

We will trek for approximately 6 hours from Syabru Bensi to Lama Hotel. The view of terraced fields and lush forest with a diverse range of vegetation is breathtaking. We may also encounter some of the wildlife residents, such as the white-throated martin, wild boar, Langur monkey, red panda, and Himalayan black bear. Around 2000 meters, the trail passes a brook and a steel suspension bridge. The path will next take us to the northern bank of the LangtangKhola, where we will be treated to a spectacular view of waterfalls. We will end the day's hike when we arrive at the Lama Hotel.

Day 3 :

Hike from Lama Hotel to Langtang National Park

We will trek for roughly 6-7 hours from Lama Hotel to Langtang. The view from Langtang Lirung is breathtaking. On the drive, we will pass through a lush GhoraTabela meadow at 3000m, a valley of yak pastures, and ethnic Tamang villages. The Langtang National Park headquarters are at Langtang Village. We'll spend the night in a nearby guest house.

Day 4 :

Hike from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa

We will trek around 3900 meters from Langtang to Kyanjin Gompa. During the hike, we will come across Nepal's largest mani wall, which is built of stone with prayers etched on it. We will also come across a number of wooden bridges. The Kyajing Gompa is encircled by the Himalaya and offers breathtaking views of glaciers, icefalls, birds, and yaks. We'll end the day in a nearby guesthouse.

Day 5 :

Day of exploration

On this day, we can hike to Kyanjin Ri or Tseku Ri for spectacular Himalayan views of Langtang Lirung 7245m, Ganesh Himal 7406m, Naya khanga 5846m, Dorje Lakpa 6988m, Gaurishanker 7145m, Gangchenpo 6387m, and Yala peak 5500m, or we can hike to Langtang Lirung base camp. We'll spend the night at Kyanjin Gompa in a local guest home.

Day 6 :

Hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel

We will hike from Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel, a 2480m path that will take us about 4/ 5 hours. The trail descends a hill and then passes into a woodland. Travel through ethnic Tamang communities, which share Tibetan cultural and religious beliefs. We'll spend the night in a nearby guest house.

Day 7 :

The Lama Hotel Thulo Syabru Trek

The trek from Lama Hotel to Thulo Syabru about 2200 meters in elevation. The top section of the trail is particularly scenic because it provides a panoramic view of mountains and green hills. This area is controlled by the Tamang community, who have adopted the Tibetan way of life. We'll spend the night in a nearby guest house.

Day 8 :

Singh Gompa to Syabru village

We will be traveling from Syabru Village to Singh Gompa on this day. We can learn and experience the Tibetan lifestyle and culture that the settlements in the vicinity follow. The view of the mountains along the way is spectacular.

Day 9 :

Gosiankunda Lake to Sing Gompa

We will go to Gosiankund Lake and investigate it. It is a 5- to 6-hour walk from Singh Gompa. This lake is regarded as one of the holiest lakes by Hindus and Buddhists alike. This trekking location is well-known for the Langtang valley, which features Tamang culture, mountain views, Tibetan monasteries, rustic Tibetan-style dwellings, a yak cheese factory, gorgeous scenery, and waterfalls.

Day 10 :

Trek down to Phedi after crossing the Lauribinayak pass.

On this day, we will travel early in the morning to have a bird's-eye view of Gosiankund Lake. We'll take the Gosiankund pass to get to Phedi. We'll spend the night in Phedi at a small guesthouse. We'll spend the night at Phedi in a local guest home.

Day 11 :

Tharepati to Phedi

We will hike to Tharepati, which is around 9 kilometers away from Phedi, after a delicious breakfast. Our path takes us through many forests, across steep-rocky hills, and along the Tadi Khola. There are a couple of tea places in Ghopte, which is on our way to Tharepati. We'll spend the night in Tharepati at a small guesthouse.

Day 12 :

Kutumsang to Tharepati

We'll start our trek to Kutumsang by using a path that gently descends through a forest on the western slope of a ridge. We'll pass over a wider meadow with shepherd's cottage ruins before descending to Magin Goth through another woodland. A short stroll through Kyuola Bhanjyang takes us to a rhododendron woodland and then to the town of Kutumsang. We'll spend the night in Kutumsang at a small guesthouse.

Day 13 :

Chisopani to Kutumsang

We will travel to Chisopani through Jogin Danda ridge and Gul Bhanjyang settlement. The path leads through Thotong Danda and enters Chipling settlement. We proceed on a wide trail to Pati Bhanjyang, a little town located between Chipling and Chisopani. We'll spend the night in Chisopani at a guesthouse.

Day 14 :

Drive to Kathmandu after trekking to Sundarijal.

The trip from Chisopani to Sundarijal should take about 4-5 hours. The majority of the trail is downhill. From there, we can see Himalayan ranges such as Ganesh Himal and the Langtang range. Sundarijal boasts beautiful waterfalls, cascades, and rock formations, making it a perfect picnic spot. We will drive to Kathmandu from Sundarijal and then transfer you to your separate hotels.
