Langtang Valley Trek
8 DaysTrekking in the Langtang Valley offers spectacular natural and cultural diversity. Forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and pine. Mountain streams, rocky outcroppings, and snow-capped peaks. Daisies grow in grassy downs and meadows. Premolar’s wildness, spectacular waterfalls cascading over massive boulders, and calming hot springs.
Langtang Valley is a stunning valley located north of Kathmandu. Langtang is also a national park with an extent of 1710 square kilometers. It is also the first Himalayan national park. The area is sparsely populated, and the trail is rarely traveled. As a result, the walk is a lonely and tranquil experience amidst stunning natural beauty and quaint communities. The valley is thought to have been discovered while seeking for a missing yak. It was appropriately named Langtang since Lang means yak in Tibetan and tang means to follow.
